BOOKS IN REVIEW
Basic Economics 5th Edition

Professor Thomas Sowell's classic work of economics, weighing in at 650+ pages, devoid of equations and charts. If you can't understand economics, or had a lousy teacher, or just can't remember anything more than the concept of supply and demand equilibrium, Sowell is the only writer for you - lucid, logical, flawless. His insights will enhance the quality of my lectures in both Project Management and Labor Relations. I only steal from the best.

A Libertarian Walks Into a Bear
A remarkable little book by Matthew Hongoltz-Hetling about a real town with real problems and real bears. It is a study in the unexpected consequences of social policy. Read my review on Medium here.

Maoism: A Global History
A comprehensive and useful book by a historian fluent in Mandarin and witty in her native English, Julia Lovell. Read my review on Medium here.
